जन सेवा दल स्थापना विधान केसरी अखबार के संपादक विनेश ठाकुर कर्पूरी द्वारा आजादी के बाद से अब तक राजनीति एवं शासन सत्ता में वंचित जातियों देश के प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में जन संख्या अनुपात से हिस्सेदारी देने के लिए की गई है जिसका प्रारम्भिक लक्ष्य 2027 उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव रखा गया है।The Jan Seva Dal was established by Vinesh Thakur 'Karpuri'—the editor of the *Vidhan Kesari* newspaper—with the objective of ensuring that, in the post-independence era, marginalized castes receive a share in politics and governance across every region of the country proportionate to their population; its initial target has been set as the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections.
